Starlight is a proud education partner to Montessori schools globally, providing bespoke teaching support in Music and Drama. Born from experimentation with Montessori pedagogical materials, Starlight has developed a distinctive approach to the Performing Arts that respects the child's natural process of growth and discovery. Our teaching philosophy is deeply aligned with the vision, principles, and values of Dr Maria Montessori.

Starlight is the proud education partner of São Lourenço Montessori School, Lisbon.

Royal Oak International School, Nashik, India
Starlight is proud to be an education partner of Royal Oak International School in Nashik, India. During Peter's recent visit, he worked with Elementary students to develop their understanding of musical time, introducing them to the mechanical metronome through practical, hands-on learning. Peter also worked with Adolescent students on their Independence Day drama performance, commemorating 15 August and featuring a special appearance by Mahatma Gandhi. Through this unique international partnership, Starlight supports creative collaboration between schools and facilitates cultural exchange opportunities for students between India and Portugal.

Kairos Montessori, Cascais
From 2023, Starlight founder Peter Morrell served as the full-time Head of Music and Drama at Kairos Montessori school in Cascais, Portugal. Peter developed and built a thriving Music and Performing Arts Department, with students aged 3–18, based on traditional Montessori principles. Peter created a unique hybrid AMI Music Curriculum and British National Curriculum for Music, incorporating Drama provision for Children's House, Elementary and the Adolescent Programme.

What We Offer
Starlight for Montessori Schools
Starlight provides specialist Performing Arts consultancy and programme development for Montessori schools, supporting the integration of high-quality Music and Drama within the prepared environment.
