Based in the Lisbon–Cascais region of Portugal, Starlight Studio is built on a simple belief — that every person has the capacity to grow through creative expression. Here, learning is never rushed. It is allowed to emerge, fully and beautifully, in its own time.
The Person Behind Starlight
Nice to meet you,
I'm Peter.
Behind Starlight, is a deep commitment to teaching, shaped by years of experience in performing arts education. Over the past two decades, I've performed for audiences around the world — from London to Europe, South Korea, and the USA. Along the way, I've worked across a wide range of musical styles, including jazz, rock and pop, choral singing, a cappella, organ performance, and even samba drumming. These experiences continue to shape the way I teach, bringing real-world musicianship and energy into every lesson.
But what matters most to me is not just performance — it's how each student grows. I'm deeply committed to creating a calm, encouraging environment where creativity can develop naturally, and where every learner feels supported, whether they are just beginning or already exploring music more deeply. I have a passion for creative education, helping each student to build confidence, musical understanding, and a lasting love of the arts.

Our Philosophy

Not everyone grows the same way. And that's exactly the point.
The Dragonfly
Did you know? The dragonfly nymph takes between 3–5 years to develop underwater, before a fully fledged dragonfly can emerge. At Starlight, we believe learning is the same — not rushed, but allowed to emerge fully, in its own time.
The Butterfly
Some students are more like butterflies — growing through a process of change and transformation that takes just a few months. From first note to first performance, the journey is uniquely theirs.

From breath control to performance confidence, singing lessons at Starlight are built around your natural voice. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to develop your range, every lesson is tailored to you.
